A short getaway in the tranquil village of Isinlivi to kick back and soak up the incredible scenery and to escape busy city life. Imagine yourself surrounded by the colors, smells, and sounds of nature! A perfect place to get your feet back on the ground, to think about your life and that of others, and to rest. The Mini Mountain Escape includes a daytrip to the Quilotoa Crater Lake and a horse-back riding tour!
You can start your Mini Mountain Escape any day. If Day 2 falls on a Saturday, a visit to the market in Zumbahua is included. If Day 2 falls on a Sunday, a visit to the market in Sigchos is included.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Relax
Upon your arrival to Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge our staff will welcome you and show you your beautiful Mountain Room with balcony overlooking the mountains. A great place to read your book and enjoy some tranquility.
The afternoon you will enjoy a relaxing time at the Spa, you can use the dry or wet sauna and relax your muscles in the Jacuzzi, letting all the tension in your body go. You can also enjoy a Yoga Class.
After a tasty dinner and maybe making some new friends, we will lit the wood stove in your room for a relaxing end to your day.
Day 2 – Quilotoa Daytrip
Get up early for a refreshing yoga class. After breakfast our driver will be waiting for you to take you to the incredible Quilotoa Crater Lake.
According to local stories, Quilotoa is “the lake of the God of duality”, the God of eruptions that take away all that is in its way and the God of depths. The Crater Lake will literally take your breath away! It’s just a half an hour hike down from the viewpoint to get to the lake side and 1 hour hike back up the 280 meter vertical ascent. It is possible to rent a horse to get back up. At the lake shore you can rent a canoe to explore the lake and its fumaroles.
On Saturdays this tour is combined with a visit to the Zumbahua indigenous market. On Sundays this day is combined with a visit to the Market in Sigchos.
Day 3 – Horse riding
In the morning our local guide will be waiting for you to take you for a 3 hour horse-back riding trip through the surrounding mountains of Isinlivi. You will go down into the Toachi canyon, through the river and a small indigenous village. Take in the beautiful natural landscapes without having to walk on your own two feet.
